Liam McVarnok, Trainer
With a deep-rooted passion for fitness and endurance sports, Liam brings a wealth of experience to Method Fitness. A second-generation Irish-Canadian from Nova Scotia, he spent three years living and working abroad in New Zealand and Australia before backpacking through 20 countries across Southeast Asia and Europe. This global journey has enriched his approach to fitness, blending diverse perspectives with his natural athleticism.
Liam’s personal journey fuels his commitment to nutrition coaching, especially for clients aiming to lose body fat. Having once struggled with body image himself, he understands the emotional and physical challenges his clients face. His accomplishments include completing numerous marathons, ultra marathons, IRONMAN triathlons, and a 55-hour 2.4x IRONMAN, showcasing his ability to push beyond the limits of what’s considered possible.
Outside of his athletic endeavors, Liam is an avid reader, podcast listener, and video creator, continuously expanding his knowledge. When he’s not training or coaching, you’ll find him supporting the Chicago Bears or enjoying activities like surfing, snowboarding, and hiking. His passion for fitness, combined with his extensive knowledge and life experiences, makes Liam an ideal partner for anyone looking to achieve lasting, transformative results.
