Cresswell Hamilton
Cresswell Hamilton
Founder & CEO

With a natural athleticism and passion for team sports, Cresswell has spent much of his time outside of school on the basketball courts. His love of hoops led him to play basketball at the college level, while he earned his Kinesiology degree from the University of Alberta.

Shortly after graduation, Cresswell embarked on a career in health and fitness in Calgary and has continued to shape, lead and inspire his clients and his team in health and wellness. During this time, he has learned the value of building meaningful relationships with clients in and out of the gym and his care and attention has earned the trust of his clients to push them beyond the physical limits they believe possible.

Jacob Durand
Jacob Durand
Trainer + Manager of Operations

With a HBSc. in Kinesiology and over a decade of experience working with clients looking to improve at their sport, recover from injury/manage pain, or drop 10-20lb, Jacob has made it his mission to educate and assist clients in accomplishing their goals and achieving a pain-free life.

Born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Jacob has dabbled in various sports over the course of his life, ranging from soccer, football, track and field, to Olympic weightlifting, and powerlifting. Having been severely overweight growing up and into early adulthood, it wasn’t until he decided to take a leap of faith by joining a gym and hiring a personal trainer/nutrition coach himself that his love, and albeit, slight obsession for health and fitness emerged.

Nowadays you’ll find Jacob setting goals and chasing new challenges, such as growing Method Fitness, training for and completing his first marathon, setting new strength feats, doing a standing backflip, and attempting to break 80 on the golf course.

Dan Mills
Dan Mills

His balanced approach to fitness focuses on mobility, stability, and long-term health, ensuring his clients get stronger, faster, and healthier while reducing injuries and enhancing longevity.

Dan’s ultimate goal is to empower his clients to do what they love more often—whether that’s enjoying more Fridays out with friends or achieving a new personal best. He collaborates closely with each individual to create personalized plans that support their unique goals and lifestyles.

Outside of coaching, Dan is always on the move, taking on new fitness competitions ranging from running and cycling to obstacle races. He thrives on setting and conquering new challenges, all while carving out time to hit the slopes and maximize his snowboarding days.

Niki Mehri
Niki Mehri
Trainer

Having joined the Method team in September 2024, Niki brings expertise in rehabilitative and therapeutic exercise. With over 500 hours of volunteer experience working with clinical populations, she has honed her skills in helping individuals recover and enhance their physical abilities. Her academic achievements include an honors thesis exploring innovative therapeutic technologies designed to improve balance and gait in geriatric populations.

At Method, Niki works with a wide range of clients, finding immense fulfillment in witnessing their progress. For her, every small victory is a step toward transformation, and being part of that journey fuels her passion for continuous growth as a trainer.

Outside the gym, Niki’s love for hiking shines through—she is a certified hiking guide, blending her outdoor pursuits with fitness. Hiking not only provides her with a refreshing escape but also enhances her endurance, strength, and mental clarity. She often incorporates elements of nature into her training approach, creating dynamic workouts that benefit both the body and mind. When she’s not on the trail or in the gym, you’ll likely find her immersed in a good book, with Paulo Coelho as her favourite author.

Emma Hennig
Emma Hennig
Trainer

Emma is a CSEP-Certified Personal Trainer with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Calgary. Growing up in Fernie and learning to ski at a very young age sparked her joy for movement and sport. She brings both academic knowledge and lived experience to her coaching. Emma first discovered strength training as a way to improve her performance in basketball, but her own journey with chronic shoulder injuries shifted her focus toward injury rehabilitation and prevention.

Now, she helps clients build strength, restore movement, and train with longevity in mind. Emma’s coaching style emphasizes proper technique, individualized programming, and empowering clients to take control of their health and performance. Whether you’re an athlete looking to perform at your best or someone aiming to move pain-free in daily life, Emma’s goal is to help you build a stronger, more resilient body.

Braedan Stephan
Braedan Stephan
Trainer

Braedan was born and raised in Edmonton, where he spent over 15 years playing competitive hockey. His time on the ice not only fueled his love for sports and movement but also taught him discipline, teamwork, and resilience. After coaching youth hockey, he discovered how rewarding it was to help others grow, which sparked his interest in pursuing a career in fitness and health.

In 2021, Braedan moved to Calgary after a summer working in Kananaskis and went on to complete a two-year diploma in Fitness and Wellness Management at SAIT. He is now a CSEP-Certified Personal Trainer with a mission to make fitness simple, help people move better, and support them in building strong, capable bodies that allow them to fully enjoy life.

Outside of training, Braedan enjoys spending as much time outdoors as possible. Whether it’s golfing, biking, hiking, camping, or climbing in the mountains, he’s always looking for ways to stay active. In the winter, you’ll often find him skiing or playing hockey on outdoor rinks. His own love for movement and adventure carries over into his coaching, where he brings energy, encouragement, and a personal approach to every client he works with.
